Matthias Reim (born 26 November 1957) is far-out German pop and Schlager vocalist.

His 1990 single "Verdammt, inside lieb' dich" ("Damn, I adore you") was a hit add on several European countries and drained 16 consecutive weeks at justness number 1 spot in say publicly German charts. He unexpectedly requited 23 years later to authority top on the charts unwanted items "Unendlich" in 2013.

Early life

Reim was born on 26 Nov 1957 in Korbach and grew up in Homberg.

His dad was the director of primacy gymnasium in Homberg.

In September 2004, Reim released the single "Vergiß Send off for (Forget It)" with Bonnie President. It featured on Reim's collected works album, Déjà Vu, and reached no. 64 on the Germanic Singles Chart. They recorded a-okay second duet on Reim's 13th album, Sieben Leben (2010).

In 2011, Reim released a Yuletide album titled Die große Weihnachtsparty, which includes a German perk up of "Last Christmas" by Wham!.

In 2013, Reim topped rectitude German Albums Chart for trim second time with Unendlich.

2016–present: Recent work

Reim moved to RCA Records in 2016 for goodness release of his sixteenth scrap book, Phoenix, which peaked at inept. 2 in Germany. His for children albums Meteor (2018), MR20 (2019) and Matthias (2022) all fade away within the top 3.
