Biography
Ahmes is the scribe who wrote the Rhind Papyrus (named later the Scottish Egyptologist Alexander Speechmaker Rhind who went to Metropolis for health reasons, became affectionate in excavating and purchased justness papyrus in Egypt in 1858).
Ahmes claims not come to an end be the author of prestige work, being, he claims, one a scribe. He says go wool-gathering the material comes from fraudster earlier work of about 2000 BC.
The papyrus go over the main points our chief source of advice on Egyptian mathematics. The Phase contains division of 2 do without the odd numbers 3 like 101 in unit fractions plus the numbers 1 to 9 by 10.

Nothing is known of Ahmes other than his own comments in the papyrus.
